The Lady in White of the Los Feliz Mansion

This deteriorating, ivy-covered abandoned home is located in the hills of Los Feliz, California. The home, which was once a representation of riches and prestige, has been abandoned for many years due to its troubled past. Whispering about the weird happenings that have haunted the land since a sad tragedy that happened there in the 1950s, locals avoid it, especially at night.

The estate was bought by wealthy cardiologist Dr. Harold Perelson in the late 1940s. Along with his three kids, he shared the residence with his spouse, Lillian. They seemed like the ideal family, living the American dream, from the outside. But something went horribly wrong on the evening of December 6, 1959.

Police records state that while his wife was sleeping, Dr. Perelson hit her in the head with a ball-peen hammer, instantly killing her. Then he tried to kill his kids, but Judye, his daughter, escaped and told the neighbors. Dr. Perelson consumed a mixture of pills to end his own life before law enforcement could reach him.

The family members who were still alive soon left the home, and it was never sold or lived in again for unclear reasons. Years passed as the house appeared to be stuck in time, the family's possessions unaltered as though they had departed and may return at any time. However, they never did.

Unusual rumors regarding the estate started to spread. The vacant house's lights were flickering on and off, neighbors said. They also heard voices that didn't belong to them and even caught a glimpse of a ghostly white woman standing at the windows and staring out into the night. Some thought it was Lillian Perelson, stuck in her house till her tragic death.

A group of teens who chose to investigate the home in the early 1980s provided one of the most terrifying testimonies. After breaking in, they started to explore the rooms shrouded in dust. They had a terrible feeling that they were being watched as they made their way upstairs.

They discovered the bed was still made in the master bedroom, the covers yellowed with time. One of the teenagers froze at that moment, gazing at a big, cracked mirror. Behind them, in the mirror, was the form of a lady dressed in a white nightgown. Her eyes were dark and sunken, and her face looked pallid. Her lips moved as though she was attempting to communicate, and it appeared as though she was reaching out toward them.

The teenagers fled the room in a panic, running down the stairs and out of the home. When they turned around and headed toward the street, they noticed the woman's figure watching them go from the window.

People who hear the Los Feliz Mansion tale are still both terrified and intrigued by it. Some people think the mansion is haunted, that something terrible happened there that night in 1959 and has never gone away. Some claim that Lillian Perelson's ghost is still out there seeking justice or maybe for the kids she was never able to say goodbye to.

The home is still vacant today, a remnant of a history that is too difficult to face. It serves as a warning that some locations are best left alone and that ghosts from the past might never really go to sleep.

The actual events that happened at the Los Feliz Mansion in California are the basis for this tale. Many claim to have seen paranormal activity at one of the most notorious haunted places in the state.

The Old Adobe House's Mysteries

An old adobe home, buried among the ruins of the mission, lies in the middle of San Juan Capistrano. It has been forgotten by time, but its ghosts have never let go. Once a thriving residence, the adobe has deteriorated over the years, leaving only its crumbling walls and shattered windows as evidence of its history. Legend has it that a young woman named Isabella, who resided there in the early 1800s, is haunted by the ghost of the home, according to the locals. It was reported that Isabella had a forbidden love affair with a Spanish soldier. Tragic events befell the pair the night before they were to go on their escape. The corpse of Isabella was discovered near the mission; it was motionless and icy, and there were no visible indications of trauma. The soldier's disappearance would remain a mystery to the village for years to come, casting a pall over the community. Rumour has it that Isabella's ghost lingered in the adobe long after she died. Her ghost, with her pale face a...
